Kenya Defence Forces [KDF] Shortlisted Candidates 2024 – The names of Kenya Defence Forces shortlisted candidates for the year 2024/2025 are now available on the official portal at https://mod.go.ke/. All candidates who applied for the recruitment process are encouraged to visit this portal to check the status of their application.
The shortlisted candidates have been selected based on various criteria and will now be subjected to screening and interviews. Only successful candidates who successfully complete the screening and interview process will be recruited as new officers into the Kenya Defence Forces.
During the screening process, all shortlisted candidates will be required to present their original credentials, testimonials, and a valid national identity card. It is crucial that all shortlisted candidates adhere to this requirement, as any failure to present the necessary documents will result in disqualification.
Additionally, all shortlisted candidates must adhere to the Covid-19 protocols put in place by KDF. This includes reporting for medical and physical screenings, interviews, and training sessions.
Any candidate who fails to show up for these mandatory activities will be disqualified from the 2024/2025 Kenya Defence Forces recruitment process.
KDF Shortlisted Candidates 2024/2025 Screening Requirements
Kenya Defence Forces 2024 shortlisted candidates are now notified that without their original credentials, they won’t be allowed for screening, training and interview. All successful candidates are expected to photocopy each of their original documents for at least four (4) each. The following credentials are listed below.

A legal national means of identification

All academic certificates

Certificate of birth or identification

Testimonials and passport-sized photographs

Medical report of fitness from any of the government hospitals

Other professional certificates (if any).
During the Kenya Defence Forces 2024 interview, training or screening activities, any of the shortlisted candidates who are not physically or medically fit would be disqualified.
How Can I Download The KDF List Of 2024/2025 Shortlisted Candidates?
The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) have not yet announced the list of shortlisted candidates for various positions within the force.
Candidates who applied for the 2024/2025 Cadet, Specialist Officer, and Tradesman/Woman programs are to remain patient as they will not be able to access their names at the moment via the official KDF website.
However, it is important to note that the Kenya Defence Forces has not yet released the PDF list of shortlisted candidates.
Remember, the Kenya Defence Forces will release the PDF list of shortlisted candidates three (3) weeks after the application deadline. Therefore, it is recommended to regularly check the KDF website for updates.
