Any of the public who wishes to apply must have in his/her O’ Level five (5) credit passes in WASSCE, NECO, NABTEB or GCE. Interested applicants must note that their O’Level certificate must not be above two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language.

Graduates must attach their B.Sc. or HND together with their WASSCE, NECO, NABTEB or GCE and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate while non-graduates can apply with their O’ Level certificate and testimonial.

Applicants must be in possession of their guarantor’s form which must be endorsed by a Military Officer with a rank of colonel and above, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Traditional Ruler, Local Government Chairman or its equivalent.

Certain heights must be met by all interested applicants who are applying online to join the Nigeria Police Force, as male applicants must meet height requirements of 1.67 meters and 1.64 meters for all female applicants.
