The Anambra State Civil Service has recently conducted its recruitment exercise for the year 2023/2024. With a staggering number of 31,800 candidates who applied for various positions within the civil service, the selection process has been rigorous. The purpose of this publication is to announce that the PDF list of shortlisted candidates has been released for online recruitment test (CBT), interview and screening.
After careful evaluation of all the applications received, the Anambra State Civil Service has shortlisted approximately 6,000 candidates for the next recruitment process. These candidates have been selected based on their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the available positions.
However, it is important that you note that recruitment into the Anambra civil service has commenced. All suitable applicants are expected to check their names alphabetically according to the portal’s instructions.
The present government of Anambra state through the state’s civil service commission has released the list of successful candidates shortlisted due to the poor rate of public servants which has affected certain state ministries due to the number of retirees and other civil servants who passed away due to physical or medical challenges.
The Anambra State Civil Service 2023/2024 shortlisted candidates will fill in all existing vacancies left open by public servants who retired from the Anambra State Civil Service Commission.

Is Anambra State Civil Service Shortlisted Candidates Full PDF List For 2023 Out?
The government of Anambra State through the state’s civil service commission has released the list of successful candidates shortlisted. If you are one of the thousands who applied for the Anambra State Civil Service 2023 recruitment exercise, you are expected to visit the state’s www.anambrastate.gov.ng portal and check their names alphabetically.
A full PDF list is out, and the public and applicants can access the shortlist on the state’s website. If successfully shortlisted, you are expected to adhere strictly to the stated date and time.

If you are shortlisted, you are recommended to come along with either a Driver’s License, National ID card, International Passport, etc., two (2) passport-size photographs, Originals of your credentials and photocopies of them (at least two copies each), Original acknowledgement slips printed online. Graduates without their NYSC discharge or exemption certificate would be disqualified.
The PDF full shortlist released is the names of shortlisted candidates who have been pre-selected for a qualifying examination, screening and oral interview and only qualified candidates who pass the Anambra 2023 recruitment process will be offered a job in the state public service.
