And, all interested candidates seeking admission to National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes must bear in mind that ND or HND programmes will last for a maximum period of five (5) years and eighteen (18) months for candidates applying for Post Basic Midwifery.

Nigeria Army College of Nursing 2023/2024 Admission Criteria

All prospective candidates applying for a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) must be in possession of the following, as stated below:

  • All interested candidates must have at least five credit passes in WASSCE, NECO or GCE, not above two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  • Interested candidates must be above the ages of sixteen (16) and twenty-six (26), be Nigerian by birth and must have a certified medical fitness report issued by a recognized government hospital.

All candidates who wish to be admitted to the Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Yaba Lagos must meet a cut-off mark of 160 and above and the same applies to the Jamb.

Candidates must meet a cut-off mark requirement of 160 and above and are eligible for National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) and Post Basic Midwifery programmes.

Those who score below 160 on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will be denied admission to the Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Yaba Lagos.
