Nigerian Army Recruitment 2023 – Interested candidates who want to join the Nigerian Army are now invited to visit the recruitment website https://recruitment.army.mil.ng to complete the online application form registration scheduled from Monday 13 March 2023 to Friday 14 April 2023 which is the closing date for all online registration.

All registrations are to be submitted only to the NA official portal, as all interested candidates are charged to adhere to the website registration instructions and avoid multiple submissions of online registration.

Interested candidates are to print out the guarantor form online and complete all requirements listed on the form. Registration form for online application is out and obtainable for free and all participants are charged to complete all requirements to qualify for the shortlist.

The original copy of your application form slip, including your guarantor form, will be required at your screening centers, which will be held in all approved centers across the 36 states and FCT.

There shall be a screening of all 2023/2024 Nigerian Army shortlisted candidates, which is scheduled to commence from Tuesday 2 May 2023 to Wednesday 17 May 2023.

Any of the shortlisted candidates who do not report to their screening centers will be disqualified from the Nigerian Army recruitment process. See registration requirements below.

Nigerian Army Recruitment 2023/2024 Requirements

Below are the fundamental requirements that interested candidates must possess to join the Nigerian Army DSSC/SSC.

  • Interested candidates must have at least five (5) credit passes in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, General Certificate of Education, National Examination Council, or National Business and Technical Examination Board in not more than two sittings respectively as required by NA.

  • Candidates applying as tradesmen or women must possess a Trade Test or a City Guild Certificate.

  • To apply for Nigerian Army 2023 recruitment you must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and must possess a valid means of identification or BVN.

  • All candidates must present a certified medical report from a government hospital, as all candidates are expected to be medically and physically fit.

  • Must be free from crime and drugs

  • Must possess a birth certificate or age declaration and a valid certificate of state of origin

  • All candidates applying must meet the height requirements to join the Nigerian Army, as male candidates must be 1.68 meters and female candidates must be at least 1.65 meters.

  • All candidates applying must not be under the age of 18 years or more than 22 years for non-trade men or women respectively.

  • Those applying for tradesmen or tradeswomen must not be above 26 years as required by the Nigerian Army.

How To Apply For Nigerian Army 2023/2024 Recruitment

The Nigerian Army 2023/2024 has begun and all interested candidates who want to join the military are now invited to visit the recruitment portal and start online registration.

All who apply must print out a copy of your application form slip. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to a screening which will begin on Tuesday 2 May 2023 to Wednesday 17 May 2023.

Nigerian Army Recruitment 2023 Closing date

The closing date for the Nigerian Army recruitment registration process will end on Friday 14 April 2023. All interested are to visit the NA recruitment portal and complete and submit their application on or before Friday 14 April 2023.

The Nigerian Army’s recruitment for the Direct Short-Service Commission (DSSC) and Short-Service Commission (SSC) must be applied in line with the recruitment instructions.
