Nigerian Prisons Service Recruitment 2023: The Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) wishes to inform all potentially interested applicants that NPS 2023/2024 online registration has begun. Read the information listed on this page carefully to start your online application.

The NPS 2023 application is free of charge and all applicants who want to join the Nigerian Correctional Service are advised to apply once and submit as multiple online applications will be declined.

Nigerian Correctional Service 2023 Recruitment

The Nigerian Correctional Service, formerly known as the Nigerian Prison Service (NPS) is now recruiting eligible applicants and is now calling on all interested Nigerians to go to the www.prisons.gov.ng portal and fill out their registration form.

This opportunity is for graduate and non-graduate applicants, however, all are entitled to apply as far as you don’t have sight, mental and ear problems, communicable diseases or any physical disability.

Nigerian Prisons Service 2023 Recruitment Requirements

Below are the eligibility requirements for the Nigerian Prisons Service recruitment for 2023/2024:

  • Male applicants applying must be 1.69 meters for males and 1.650 meters for females respectively (height).

  • You must be a Nigerian and must be between the age of eighteen (18) – thirty-five (35) years.

  • All applicants must be free from criminal convictions and drugs related issues.

  • You must possess a minimum of West African Senior School Certificate Examination Certificate, National Examination Council, National Business and Technical Examinations or General Certificate of Education credit pass (not more than 2 sittings).

  • All applicants must possess a Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma or Ordinary National Diploma awarded from an accredited institution.

  • To apply through the NPS 2023 application form, you must possess a certificate of birth, certified medical certificate, certificate of state of origin/identification and a guarantor form.

TO APPLY FOR THE NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE RECRUITMENT, KNOWN AS THE NIGERIAN PRISON SERVICE (NPS) YOU WILL HAVE TO APPLY AND SUBMIT YOUR REGISTRATION FORM ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

HOWEVER, THE NIGERIAN PRISON SERVICE HAS YET TO BEGIN AN ANNUAL 2023/2024 RECRUITMENT EXERCISE. THE NIGERIAN CORRECTIONAL SERVICE IS NOT RECRUITING.

A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE PUBLISHED NATIONWIDE ONCE THE NIGERIAN PRISON SERVICE ANNOUNCES ONLINE REGISTRATIONS FOR 2023.

Review and verify your online registration once you complete your application form online. Candidates who will be considered will be invited for screening, training, interviews and CBT tests.

Nigerian Prisons Service 2023 Recruitment Deadline
