NDLEA Screening and Aptitude Test Date 2023/2024 Centers and Screening Requirements

The date for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) screening of shortlisted candidates for 2023/2024 is out for the recruitment of recently shortlisted candidates.

This screening is specifically for candidates who were shortlisted for the Superintendent Cadre and Narcotic Agent or Assistant Cadre positions.

All screening activities will be conducted in three different groups, namely Group 01, Group 02, and Group 03.

Qualified candidates are advised to take note of their assigned group and make necessary preparations accordingly.

The NDLEA has announced that the screening of shortlisted candidates and interviews will take place in five (5) selected approved locations.

The recruitment processes shall be conducted in (Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Job and Port Harcourt) in batches according to your respective state centers.

The screening and interview exercise shall begin latest by 08:00 am prompt from Monday 5th 2023 to Friday 16th June 2023.

All are expected to report to their screening centers on time, as announced on the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recruitment website: https://ndlea.gov.ng/careers.

Is The NDLEA Screening and Aptitude Test Date Set For 2023/2024?

As of now, the NDLEA has released the screening and aptitude test dates for 2023/2024. The screening date has been scheduled to commence on Monday 5th June 2023 and end on Friday 16th June 2023.

Any of the candidates not seen during the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency screening and interview activities would be disqualified from the selection process.

The screening process is an important step. All under-listed candidates are expected to be well-prepared and present themselves properly and maintain all instructions during the NDLEA screening exercise.

To ensure a successful screening process, candidates must adhere to the screening date and time. The screening will take place in (Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Job and Port Harcourt) in batches on the specified date and time as communicated to the shortlisted candidates.

However, shortlisted candidates are to arrive at the designated venue on time according to their groups (1 to 3) to avoid delays or disqualification.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has disclosed that its 2023/2024 screening and interview activities would be held only at the approved centers as listed on this page.

Also, all concerned candidates must only report to the center where they have been assigned to sit for their screening and interviews.

NDLEA Screening and Interview Requirements For 2023/2024

All under-listed candidates who were shortlisted for screening, interviews and aptitude tests must bring the following documents for verification:

  • Original and photocopies of all academic certificates

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • National ID card, driver’s license, etc.

  • Proof of the state of origin

  • NDLEA application printout

  • Colour passport-sized photographs (2 copies) without a cap or hat

  • A pair each of white round neck vests

  • Navy blue shorts (without stripes).

  • Canvas and white socks.

  • Copies of the guarantors’ forms.

  • Printed National Identification Card

  • Bank Verification Number (BVN) Print out

  • Certificate of medical fitness from any government hospital. (Must be current)

  • Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (If you have any).

  • Don’t forget to come along with all your writing materials.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) 2023/2024 screening process will consist of the following stages, which include document verification (screening), a physical fitness test, an aptitude test, and an oral interview.

All under-listed candidates must be prepared to demonstrate their knowledge and skills for the respective positions.
