The Edo State teacher recruitment for the 2023/2024 exercise has been announced by the Edo state government. The state government is now recruiting 3,000 teachers to ensure adequate learning among school pupils in primary schools and 1,000 teachers for junior and secondary schools in Edo State.
To improve the quality of academic and co-curricular activities in the state, the governor of Edo State has charged all successful candidates who will be appointed at the end of the Edo State teacher recruitment exercise to be diligent, committed and live up to expectations.
Calling on all interested candidates to visit the www.edostate.gov.ng login portal and submit their application, all required credentials and CV.
To fill out the Edo State teacher’s 2023 recruitment form, you must meet or possess specific requirements and apply for one field when filling out any of the vacancies. Successful candidates will have the chance to be recruited into the state’s public schools.
You can apply for any of the non-teaching staff vacancies as provision has been provided for them to assist school teachers in teaching primary, junior and secondary students throughout the state.
The recruitment of 3000 teachers in Edo State will go a long way in reducing the number of unemployment in the state as well as increasing the quality of academics level in the state school system.

Edo State Teachers Recruitment 2023 General Requirements
To apply for the Edo State teacher 2023/2024 recruitment, make sure you possess the following application requirements. Any candidates who have falsified information, forged or presented false credentials will be disqualified.

To be qualified to submit your application, you must be a Nigerian and must reside in Ekiti State

If you have a minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or HND certificate together with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in the said subject areas, you are eligible to apply.

All who wish to apply must possess (5) credits in WASSCE or NECO including Mathematics and English Language.

Only those with a minimum of second-class honours (2.2) in a bachelor’s degree in any of the subject areas or fields can apply.

Being computer-literate or possessing other qualifications will be an added advantage.

All interested candidates between 22 and 35 years can apply.

Only candidates who have completed their mandatory NYSC program. Those who are applying must possess an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Deployment to any part of the state is mandatory.
