Sokoto State Teachers Recruitment 2023/2024
Interested applicants for the position of junior or secondary school teacher must meet the following requirements in order to be considered eligible for the application process. Any member of the public who does not have any of these requirements is not eligible to apply.

Interested applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in education or HND holder in relevant school subjects with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE). Note that your bachelor’s degree must be obtained from a recognized institution.

You must have teaching experience in any of the subject areas. This could include experience as a student teacher, teaching assistant, or full-time teacher and must possess a deep understanding of the subject they will be teaching.

You must have a minimum of five (5) O-level credit passes in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE) or National Examination Council (NECO). However, your O-level certificate should not be more than two sittings, including Mathematics and English Language.

A certified medical report is required from all applicants who will be filling out the application form and must be issued from any of the government hospitals.

Your certificate of birth or age declaration, a valid means of identification (voter’s card, national identity card, etc.), and a certificate of state of origin are highly required.
