Delta State Teachers Shortlisted Candidates 2023 – The Delta state government, through the Ministry of Basic & Secondary Education, has recently announced the release of a comprehensive list of qualified teachers who participated in the online application process for the 2023/2024 recruitment exercise.
This list comprises individuals who have successfully met the necessary criteria and qualifications to be considered for teaching positions within the state.
The primary objective behind this recruitment exercise is to address the existing shortage of teachers in both rural and urban areas of Delta state. By recruiting more teachers, the state government aims to effectively enhance the quality of education provided in public schools across the region.

The governor of Delta State has stated that the shortlist of qualified candidates who will be recruited into primary, junior and secondary was announced due to the poor number of teachers in some public schools which was caused due to the additional new schools established throughout the state and retirees.
Shortlisted teachers who applied for teaching jobs will be invited to an aptitude test (CBT Test) and screening of all credentials for the selection of candidates who will teach in the state’s secondary schools.

The Delta State MoBSE has selected and shortlisted the names of qualified candidates for the recruitment of school teachers due to the shortage of public teachers which was caused by retirement, illness and death in the state.

All teachers seeking employment, fresh graduates and other suitable candidates who applied for the previously concluded recruitment are to visit the state MoBSE recruitment portal and check their names.
The Delta State Ministry of Basic & Secondary Education (MoBSE) will only invite candidates who have been shortlisted candidates for screening and aptitude test (CBT Test) for the final shortlisting process.
However, the state government has charged all qualified teachers who will be employed throughout the state’s public schools to be committed to primary, junior and secondary pupils in teams of learning and skills.

Delta State Teachers Shortlisted Candidates for 2023/2024 Screening Requirements
The screening process of all shortlisted candidates is another section of the Delta State 2023/2024 recruitment exercise which will determine and checkmate the eligibility of all candidates who will be hired into the public school system.
The screening process will be conducted only at Delta State’s approved centers. All prospective candidates are requested to come along with their original credentials, such as:

All academic certificates (O Level certificate, B.Sc., HND or NCE, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate and TRCN certificate)

Legal means of identification (International Passport, etc.)
