The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially opened its recruitment process for the year 2023/2024. The commission is now accepting applications from qualified individuals who are interested in joining the commission.
This recruitment drive aims to hire more staff who will be assigned specific roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth and efficient conduct of electoral processes
However, the INEC recruitment for the year 2023/2024 has commenced, offering individuals the opportunity to apply for any of the existing vacancies. Interested applicants should visit the official recruitment portal and submit their applications, ensuring they meet the specified requirements.

Note that the Independent National Electoral Commission’s online registration for the recruitment of interested and qualified applicants is ongoing throughout 36 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

INEC 2023/2024 Recruitment Requirements
Independent National Electoral Commission recruitment requirements are the most essential part of your online application, as interested applicants who do not meet the recruitment online requirements and conditions will be disqualified from the process.

You are required to have at least a minimum of 5 credit passes in not more than 2 sittings, including Mathematics and English Language in the WASSCE, NECO or GCE.

Interested applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin and a Bachelor’s degree or a Higher National Diploma awarded from accredited institutions, including an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Having a Master’s degree and other certifications will be an added advantage.

The maximum online application age is 35 years.

All applicants must upload their recent passport photograph and must possess a valid means of identification such as (a national identity card, driver’s license, national identification number (NIN) Slip, etc.)
