Bayelsa State TESCOM Shortlisted Candidates 2024: Through www.bayelsastate.gov.ng, all applicants can now check their names and report to the Bayelsa State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) screening centers for verification and documentation. All shortlisted candidates are to come along with their acknowledgment slips printed online.
Due to the acute shortage of primary, junior, and secondary teachers in the state’s capital and rural communities, the government of Bayelsa State has commenced the teacher recruitment process in the state and all prospective candidates can now check the names and prepare for the next step ahead of them to fill in the positions left open by retired civil servants.
However, the percentage number of successful candidates required by the state’s government has been shortlisted and candidates whose names are not on the list are not eligible to report to the screening centers or sit for the CBT Test.
Bayelsa State Teachers 2024/2025 Shortlisted Candidates

The newly shortlisted candidates will be posted across rural communities and the state’s capital due to the acute shortage of primary, junior, and secondary teachers in Bayelsa State.
However, during the open press program hosted by the governor of Bayelsa State, he stated that the computer-based test (CBT) which shall be conducted by TESCOM will be based on transparency, merit, and percentage scored during the CBT exam.
The governor also stated that the Bayelsa State Teacher 2024 shortlisted candidates will replace all teachers who left the civil service due to death, illness, or retirement, and has charged all shortlisted candidates to live up to expectations if they are considered at the end of the Bayelsa State screening, CBT Tests and interviews.
Bayelsa State Teachers 2024 Shortlisted Candidates Screening Requirements
The screening exercise will be the second stage of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, which will be conducted by the Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) for the verification of all credentials and other personal assessments.
The Bayelsa State teacher screening and CBT Tests will be held in batches and if you know you have been shortlisted, you are to come along with the Original copies of all credentials as indicated on the application form during the 2024 yet-concluded recruitment exercise online application.
The following credentials must be original and must be obtained from accredited institutions. You are also expected to make photocopies of each of your credentials for documentation.

All academic certificates (NCE, B.Sc., HND certificate, WASSCE, NECO, GCE certificate, TRCN certificate, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate)

National ID card, international passport or voter’s card, etc., certificate of birth or age declaration, certificate of state of origin, two (2) copies of passport-size photographs.

Government hospital’s certified medical report stating if you are medically fit to work.
How Can I Check The List Of Bayelsa State Teachers 2024/2025 Shortlisted Candidates
To check for the 2024/2025 PDF list of Bayelsa State teachers shortlisted candidates, you will have to visit the state’s official portal only if you have your login details (username and password created during the online application).
However, the list of Bayelsa State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) shortlisted candidates for 2024/2025 has yet to be released. Applicants who applied online will not be able to check their names on the recruitment portal until the commission releases the list of successful candidates who pass the application requirements for screening.
