The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has shortlisted numerous candidates out of the hundreds of thousands of applicants who applied to be enlisted in the ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

All successfully shortlisted candidates whose email addresses are valid and functional have been contacted through their email or mobile numbers.

Applicants who are yet to check their names due to a lack of information can log in to the NIS portal and check their names with their username (APP ID) and password as instructed online.

Candidates who have been shortlisted are to appear at their screening centers with original copies of all their credentials, and all shortlisted candidates are strictly informed that all documents must be valid and true.

The Nigeria Immigration Service 2024 shortlisted candidates must appear in their respective state of origin throughout the 36 states and FCT for screening on the date enlisted on the PDF list with original copies of the following:

  • All academic credentials and a Guarantor Form

  • Print out copies of the completed application form slips

  • Certification form from your parent or guardian

  • Local Government Area Certification Form

  • Recent passport photographs

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • Medical Fitness (Government Hospital).

The following requirements mentioned above are the most essential documents that will be required by officials before the commencement of the Nigeria Immigration Service screening exercise. Also, come along with each of the photocopies (4 copies each).

All shortlisted names have been released on the NIS portal and the screening has been scheduled to hold on Saturday 29 April 2023 across the 36 states and FCT.

However, all who have been shortlisted by the Nigeria Immigration Service are expected to report to their states of origin for their screening activities respectively.

The documentation for the NIS training school shall begin its usual training activities which will last for about six months (6) of camp life, and we believe all shortlisted candidates who registered with a valid and functional email have been notified via their mailbox regarding their screening and training processes.
